Shift Available:    Tuesday –  Friday, 12:00pm – 8:30pm; Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Description

  • Comply with all Company procedures as outlined in manuals, bulletins and memos
  • Unloads, loads or handles hazardous materials with responsibility for safe transport
  • Inspect hazmat freight that will be moving by various modes (air/ocean/ground) for international shipment
  • Creates dangerous goods shipper documents
  • Resolution of dangerous goods shipment issues
  • Ensure proper compliance with local and international laws and regulations
  • Perform hands-on training to improve efficiency/effectiveness for all import/export cargo functions


  • Dangerous Goods Certified a definite plus
  • Hazmat/automotive logistics and/or previous traffic office experience for a largescale shipper
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details are essential in this position along with the capability of handling copious amounts of information
  • Knowledge and experience with order fulfillment
  • Experience with freight forwarding and air.and ocean cargo
  • Must be able to use Excel, Word and other common desktop software applications.  Must also be comfortable learning web applications and proprietary software
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting 
  • Ability to work and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
