Job Posting Title: Business Analyst

SUMMARY

The Business Analyst will work with our clients and operations employees to define workflows, functionality, and requirements for new development efforts.  The Business Analyst will forecast and provide feedback on past and future client projects. Working with the Project Manager, the Business Analyst will help break out requirements into objectives that meet project goals. The Business Analyst is expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Project Manager to ensure the delivery of quality products or enhancements
  • Provide sourcing support for project materials
  • Forecast and demand planning for client specific materials
  • Perform data gathering and data utilization
  • Develop solution or conclusions using quantitative skills
  • Project/strategy planning support
  • Evaluate Inventory and create purchase orders in client systems
  • Work directly with vendors, giving direction regarding packaging, inbound requirements, product quality, and delivery expectations.
  • Create Adhoc sequel reports from WM and other various systems, analyze, and summarize data collected
  • Monitor/audit warehouse performance on SLA’s
  • Effective communication to teams and other leaders
  • Responsible for professional verbal and written communication with all internal and external customers. Will adhere to professional etiquette standards when communicating with management members, coworkers, customer, and other visitors.
  • Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance. (1) Will accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety; (2) Responsible for organization and cleanliness of work area; (3) Will comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site specific policies, safety and work rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or relevant study.
  • Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience and/or other training; will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must have experience working on a PC and using Microsoft Office programs. Prior experience using a warehouse management system.
  • Must be able to work as assigned in either office or warehouse environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA degree in Business Management and 3 years relevant work experience and/or other training; will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Prior administrative experience working in a Distribution environment is preferred.
  • Must have experience working on a PC and using Microsoft Office programs. Prior experience using WMS is preferred.
  • CAPM certification preferred.
  • Must be able to work as assigned in either office or warehouse environment.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Computer Skills: ability to understand and perform job tasks using computer programs.
  • Must have excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to run pivot tables and complex formulas, etc.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and instructions.
  • Strong attention-to-detail, accuracy, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-pace environment.
