SUMMARY
The supervisor is responsible for coordinating shipping, receiving, quality, inventory, and assisting the operations manager in assuring that the warehouse is in compliance with safety, security, and quality policies and principles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Customer relations between DSV Solutions and Customer
 Shipping/receiving accuracy
 Labor management
 Cycle count reporting
 Continuous Improvement
 Comply within Quality and Operations performance indicators
 Assist in training and the development of associates
OTHER DUTIES
 Performs other duties as required
 Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation. Participate in established cross training metrics activities with the opportunity to improve their knowledge in multiple areas / departments and be able to assist as a backup when the need may rise.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping & Receiving Coordinate all inbound and/or outbound product functions including: unloading, checking, orderly stacking, storing, order pulling, staging, checking, labeling and loading. Maintain team performance standards based on time studies and efficiency agreements with efforts to reduce or eliminate any indirect time(s). Assist with development, improvement and compliance of operating procedures.
Labor management Assist with associate relations, training, and personnel development. Provide timely performance appraisals and counseling.
Safety Audit warehouse daily for compliance with safety, security, and quality principles and rules. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Promote safety among work crew.
Written communication Transmit e-mails to DSV representatives and customer (when required), write corrective/preventive actions, complete reports for operations manager, follow-up with attendance reports, write counseling memos and write/perform evaluations. All communications must be accurate and professional.
Verbal communication Assist with conducting daily startup meetings, encouraging associates to provide feedback and work as a team and help with their development (training), coordinate operations with manager to ensure completion of daily objectives, report and discuss any internal or external issues that involving the operation.
Miscellaneous Provide good communication and motivational techniques and ensure all company rules are followed. Provide management with information regarding labor/equipment needs to meet customer demands. Develop team leaders and ensure that associate expectations are being followed.
Responsibility and Authority Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality system; to identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system; to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels; to verify the implementation of solutions.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
 1-3 years, experience in organizational and personnel skills is helpful.

 Should have good communication skills, written and oral; also helpful are leadership, supervision, and planning skills.
 High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
 2 - 4 year college degree preferred but not required
