The Regional Quality Manager primary function is to maintain the Quality Management System within your designated region. This entails acting as the champion for quality, lead quality improvement initiatives, maintain and train corrective actions, conducting quality training, and communicating the results of quality. The RQM will work aligned with the direction of the Senior Manager Quality – North America.  Job requires working closely with Safety, Quality, IT, Engineering and Operations.


  • Act as primary quality representative within the designated region
  • Ensure the Quality Management System is fully implemented at the regional sites such as documentation system, support corrective actions including DSV version or client, other critical elements of a QMS, etc.
  • Provide direct support to sites regarding all related QMS matters such as training, quality visits and conference calls
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled assessment supporting the company warehouse certification program
  • Track applicable quality performance to determine the site quality health of assigned regional sites
  • When required, lead ISO and TS16949 registrations implementations, assessments compliance and training.
  • Lead and support all required certifications supporting the regional sites including food service, related quality certifications
  • Manage and monitor site quality resources to drive standardization of processes
  • Promote and maintain all 5S+ related principles as outlined including 5S+ related training.
  • Assist operations with Quality training and projects; providing training to regional sites regarding quality subjects 


Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree, Minimum 3 years’ experience, 5 years’ experience preferred. 

Quality Related:  Basic Quality Principles, Process Development, ISO Training and Education, Lean principles

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, Power Point and database development

Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal), interpersonal communication, problem-solving and presentation skills

  • Superior leadership, planning and organizing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills that promote team building are required
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment
  • Logistics/ Supply Chain experience, specifically warehouse or distribution center operations 
  • Proficient with process flow mapping
  • Background in operations and implementations
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Perform certification audits at selected sites based on the company certification program


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to touch objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.  The employee will use computers and smart phones to communicate. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision related to computers.  Must be able to work flexible hours and/or travel, often on short notice, possibly up to 60% or more traveling. Travel mode is typically by airplane and/or automobile.


    Must be able to work remotely and/or in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to consumer products, noise within warehouses that could cause minor harm. However, local safety measures will prevent any harm.
