Job Posting Title: Supervisor - 3164 

Summary:

Effectively supervise all assigned warehouse operations and administration of team leads, warehouse associates and Equipment operators to exceed client expectations and requirements on a daily basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise and implement day to day facility operations and administration.
  • Ensure that warehouse functions are  performed in accordance  with company procedures and objectives and exceed client expectations
  • Ensure all staff are provided sufficient training to achieve goals set out by the Company.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, housekeeping and 5S, and retain a clean, safe and secure work area.
  • Hold associates accountable to Company and Client expectations.
  • Thorough understanding and supervision of all warehouse Inbound and Outbound process flows.
  • Schedule labour in strict accordance with operational requirements, strive to optimize labour and reduce overall cost
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Four (4) years of work experience

  • Strong work ethic
  • Consistent, reliable, responsible, highly organized
  • Creative with a paradigm of Continuous Improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of quality systems, procedures and proprietary policies.
  • Working knowledge of WMS and automation highly preferred
