As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies


  • Works as part of a regional staffing function which provides support to talent strategies, programs, initiatives, goals, metrics and state-of-the-art tools. Works collaboratively with other geographies to ensure alignment and the sharing of best practices is achieved as appropriate or as assigned
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments including Bill of Lading, Load Sheets and Customs
  • Manage equipment to perform above tasks
  • Hours of operational coverage – (24 hours per day, 7 days per week)
  • Audit receipts to ensure processes for receiving into system are correct
  • Maintain ’Plant Manufacturing System’ location status for tracking of inventory as received
  • Manage disposal of dunnage 
  • Provide janitorial services
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for shipment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy
  • Perform material testing as determined by Amsty
  • Manage rail cars per customers and Amsty’s needs.
  • Ensure rail car cleanliness
  • Provide Lock Out/Tag Out Expertise
  • Ensure equipment is maintained (submit work orders)
  • Manage silo levels
  • Ensure silo cleanliness
  • Use rail car mover to re-locate railcars.
  • Provide staffing adequate to handle daily volumes which includes over-time as required
  • Provide safe working environment and good housekeeping
  • Packaging supplies receiving function (LTL, TL, Air, and Parcel)
  • Communicate any material shortages or discrepancies immediately to the Amsty
  • Manage the product flow from plant silos to distribution locations (end customers).  This would include performing goods issued and SAP entries.

Education and/or Experience

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• 6 months experience working in

Language Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)

    Mathematical Skills

    • Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing and distributing client products.

    Other Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of material that the company handles and the services offered
  • Fork lift experience.
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance



     While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs while following proper lifting procedures. Must be able to stand on feet for up to 12 hours per day.


Work can require working in all types of weather conditions. This is not a climate controlled facility.
